There is no form on this page, and that is deliberate.
Why there's no form
A form means storing whatever people type into it, including, on a site like this, accounts of things that have happened to them. That would make us responsible for sensitive personal data, with everything that follows: a retention policy, a data protection assessment, and a duty of care we are not currently set up to discharge. An email address is honest about what happens to what you send.
What to get in touch about
An error. Especially in legal or safety content. Corrections there take priority over everything else we do. Tell us what's wrong and, if you can, what the right answer is and where you found it.
Writing for the site. We publish contributors. You choose the name you appear under, full name, first name only, or a handle. Read the editorial standard first; it's what your piece will be read against.
Using the material. The guides and downloads are here to be used by anyone campaigning in good faith. If you want to reproduce something at scale, translate it, or adapt it for another country, get in touch and we'll almost certainly say yes.
Something we've missed. If you looked for something here and it wasn't there, that's the most useful thing you can tell us.
What not to send
Don't report an incident to us. We are not a reporting service and cannot act on it. If something has happened to you, contact the police, or an organisation that handles reports and casework in your country.
Don't send us information about private individuals. We don't publish it and we don't want to hold it.
Don't send anything urgent. This is not a monitored crisis line. If you are at immediate risk, contact the emergency services.
About us
Answer The Hate is published by Stop The Hate. We don't name individual staff on the site. That isn't evasiveness about accountability, the publishing entity is named and answerable for everything here. It's a decision not to hand anyone a list of people to go after.
